CPM Solutions was founded by Simon Neaverson in 1995, and is now a respected and successful management consulting practice. The firm is recognised as a leading adviser to “closely-held” organisations, such as professional services organisations and industry associations and other not-for profit entities, where the big challenge of providing governance “on”, whilst working “in” the business is a key challenge. . Our strong market position is demonstrated by the fact that we do not do direct marketing, rather acquiring new clients through quality referrals.

Simon Neaverson has extensive experience as a director, management consultant and facilitator with the Australian Institute of Company Directors in strategy, risk and corporate governance. Simon is founder and chairman of C.P.M. Solutions, a significant Sydney based management consultancy which specialises in board engagement, corporate governance, strategy and risk consulting. Prior to founding C.P.M. Solutions, Simon was a senior manager in the consulting group with Arthur Andersen.

Over the past 25 years, Simon has been advising Boards and Senior Management in the public, private, government and not-for-profit sector. He has facilitated industry reviews on behalf of the NSW Government in the finance and insurance industries, business and property services, education and training, wholesale and retail trade, mining, the wine and the cut flower sectors.

He has advised in excess of 250 boards and executive teams on strategy, risk, governance and accountability in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. He has been a director for nearly 20 years, with experience as an executive and non-executive director, board chair and chairman of a number of board sub-committees. Simon also offers his advice to not for profit organisations, working with Sydney Legacy, Bangarra Dance Company, Australian Centre for Photography and The Shepherd Centre.

Simon is an experienced facilitator and keynote speaker, specialising in strategic planning sessions with boards and senior management designed to address strategic and operation issues facing organisations. Simon has worked with prominent entities such as the Law Council of Australia, eight law firms of varying size, Reed Business Publishing, Lend Lease, The Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, The State & Regional Development Office of the NSW Government and Retravision.
